I was raised in the San Fransisco Bay Area, and spent summers on the family ranch in the Sierra foothills. The Bay Area gave me a love of technology, and the ranch gave me a love of nature and small-town life (the largest nearby town, Cool, could be walked from end to end in a couple minutes).

After spending the first 35 years of my life in the Bay Area I finally moved with my wife, Kelsey, to Siletz Oregon to live our small-town dream. With newfound room to explore our passions my wife and I quickly got to work building. I started putting together this small-scale gourmet mushroom farm, and Kelsey started laying the foundation of a small-scale flower farm, both with a focus on sustainability.

It’s been a joy to put down roots, get to know the land, and to build something that we can share with the community.
